About myself
I was born in April, a month full of blossoms and hope.
My arrival was welcomed with great love by my parents, two young people, each with their own story.
Shortly before I was born, my grandmother, my mother's mother, died completely unexpectedly. I never knew her.
A loss that has always subconsciously continued to reverberate.
Many years later I also lost my father far too early..
Major events that shaped my life path.
It was only much later that I became aware of how deeply our roots, birth, parents and grandparents are connected to who we become.
Each person carries a unique life story, with moments of falling, getting up, getting lost, and finding their way back.
As children we walked that path full of wonder: playing, climbing, dancing: 'Playing on the Way'.
And that child in me and in you, it's still there!
Playing on the Road
After a 30-year career in Human Resources and passionate about people, talents and development, something else was stirring in my heart.
Helping guide children and young people on their own journey of discovery!
Initially, my goal was to help teenagers and young adults with study and career advice, but along the way, I discovered that even younger children, from about 7 years old, can (re)discover their own strengths and talents with personalized coaching! And that's where the magic began for me.
Children: small and large. Age doesn't really matter.
By the way, if we are completely honest with ourselves: (grand)parent, mommy-daddy...
Do you feel, deep down, that you are no longer a child?
I started studying again to delve deeper into this subject.
An additional calling that I fulfill with my coaching practice 'Speelend Onderweg' for children, young people and parents.
