Each conversation can take place live, online or during a walk in and around my practice in Hoogstraten.
I can also come home if that feels safer at first.
If you live outside a 10 km radius of Hoogstraten, I will charge extra for my travel.
If you are older than 14 years, you may come alone to the intake.
But I'd love to see one of your parents appear as well.
You can also visit with a confidant, but if we embark on a process together, it is highly advisable to also involve someone from your inner circle, such as your family of origin or your current caregivers.
What is child coaching?
Every child is on a journey to himself.
On this journey they sometimes encounter obstacles or expectations from home, school or friends that can weigh heavily.
When children are not feeling well, they often show this through their behavior.
That behavior is not a problem, but a signal.
Child coaching then offers a safe place.
A place where they can be themselves, where they can tell (or show) what concerns them, and where all their feelings can really be there.
Because sometimes parents or teachers are just too close.
As a child coach, I listen without judgement and work with children and parents to find peace, strength and confidence again.
My approach
I work with young children through play, movement, drawing, and symbolism. This connects with their natural way of feeling and expressing themselves. By playing and exploring together, we often get to the core of what's holding them back. From there, we build their self-confidence, resilience, and inner strength.

A trajectory includes evaluation interviews of 1.5 hours.
